I made a blog post about Julia’s Fresh 48 a few days ago and as promised, here is her newborn studio session. I normally include all the props we will be using for your newborn session. I don’t want parents to worry about a single thing! Julia’s mama had a special request when we had our phone consultation. She wanted to incorporate her grandma’s necklace to one of the set ups. I knew right away this was going a special and emotional session for both of us since we hold dearly our grandmothers to our hearts. Even more special was to know that Julia’s due date was on grandma’s birthday.

Mom and dad wanted to stick to very pale pops of colors and neutrals (as she had to twist my arm right??). The day before the session I bought fresh flowers, I think I had a streak of boys before Julia came to my Lincoln Park, NJ studio. So I was super excited to work with some pinks and cute headbands for a change.

A very special image that I will always treasure. It is so touching and I am so honored when I am chosen to capture such a special family milestone.

Aren’t they the cutest family? I really love this portion of the session as I feel passion capturing the connection between parents and the new baby and siblings if there are any. Always fun to make parents smile and also capturing baby funny faces. It’s always fun to look back and remember the session process.
