This has been a year filled with photos & fun!
Let me introduce myself, I am Amy and I joined the Tamara Váz Photography team almost a year ago, this month! The studio we work in is right in our home town, Lincoln Park in Morris County NJ. so I get to work in the same town that I live in. It doesn’t get much better than that! I have always loved little kids so I knew that this was a job I would love instantly! Being a photographer assistant is a fun and fulfilling job that allows me to enjoy other families as if they were our own. Each client actually do become part of our photography family, which is pretty awesome!

These are a few of my favorite things…
Maternity sessions are so unique & memorable since you get to see the happiness of a family that is about to grow and the expecting moms really do glow! It brings me back to the memories of my own pregnancies with my boys and I feel the excitement for the parents and the new love they will soon feel!
But there is nothing better than a precious newborn coming in for a photo shoot and we get to snuggle them up before the photos begin! Each baby brings a sweet smell and a calming energy to the day, it feels so good to be a part of pictures that parents gush over and will cherish forever & ever! I feel so blessed that these parents trust us with their new babies and believe in the work that we do.
I can’t forget to mention the milestone sessions and how cute a six-month sitter session is or a little ones first birthday celebration or maybe even a three-year old’s beautiful birthday! Making them smile for the camera gives me all the smiles right back as it my heart melts!
It is also very special to witness family photos as many of the clients have growing families that are returning as you get to reconnect and reminisce. For many of us, having beautiful photos together and displayed at home is just priceless, as it captures a feeling in that very moment. This is something special that we play a big role in and nothing is more rewarding that that!
I want every experience you have with me from start to finish to feel like you are dealing with an old friend with a camera.
