Morristown Maternity & Baby Photography | Outdoors Maternity Session | Lullabies for Josephine Photography

One of the things that us photographers fear when we plan a beautiful sunset outdoor session is that weather will make fun of you, hiding that golden hour you are waiting to use as a background. Well, this is what happened the day that Heather and I agreed on her maternity session. She already drove 1.5 hours and planned to stay in town just for the session so we were not going to reschedule. We were laughing when we saw the clouds covering the sky. But we went for it anyways! Let me tell ya, this girl is so stunning that we didnt need much! She was such a trooper! Beautiful inside and out and I couldnt be happeir with these photos! 

We did the whole session in 20 minutes right before it started raining! I need to thank my friend Christie from Lolo & Max for sending me this gorgeous floral crown for Heather. It was the perfect accent to this pink dress!

Funny thing about props is that you only need a little vision and creativity to make your photos unique and with a touch of your own style. Right before we left my house to this beautiful outdoor location. I saw this throw on my mother-in-law's formal living room couch. It was just perfect! I grabbed it and we used it to add a little bit of texture and uniqueness to the photos. I just love it! 

 I cant wait to meet baby Sierra next August!
