Seeing a family grow and having the honor to document those special moments for them is what I love the most about what I do. I love telling their story with my art. I met Mel and Martha almost 2 years ago when I photographed Milan as a newborn. They came to my old tiny basement studio here in Lincoln Park, NJ and we hit it off! Ends up, they actually met in my home country, Puerto Rico! What are the odds? Well, baby #2 is coming and we had to do a maternity session of course! They came all the way from Edgewater, NJ to this beautiful location in Boonton, NJ and despite traffic and only having 30 minutes left of sunlight, magic happened. So excited to meet this little one next month!

When I work with families, my main focus is always to capture connection, feelings and moments that you want to remember forever. I let the kids be kids and I don’t stress about them not wanting to look at the camera smiling. This is who they are and I let their personality shine through my lens. I try to make my sessions super fun for them and for you as well!
