Lifestyle Maternity Session | Summit NJ Maternity Photographer
Lyndsay + John Lifestyle Maternity Session
One of the best compliments a photographer can receive is hearing the words “ it has to be you”. And when Lyndsay and I instantly connected during our phone consultation, she expressed this exact feeling. That she chose my work the moment she saw it. It brings tears to my eyes to think anybody could feel this way about my art. It is not unknown that lifestyle maternity sessions are a growing obsession of mine and my clients are loving the intimacy and sexiness that the bring to the portrait session.
Our connection grew stronger once I met Lyn and John in person at their Summit, NJ residence. We went through the whole style and concept consultation and we just kept chatting like instant BFFs.
One of the things I love the most about my process with my clients, is that by the time the actual shoot happens, they feel very comfortable and there is no guessing game. Everything is discussed and all concerns are put at ease before the session. I create every session with my client’s vision in mind and I focus on delivering that for them. I don’t have a '“one size fits all” session flow and I believe this is key to success!
The day of the session came and it was like photographing a friend. We had so much fun! The love these two have for each other is undeniable and it just shows. Made my work so easy!
Something I kept in mind while creating these images for Lyndsay, was that she didn’t have a great previous experience with a professional photographer. I always ask this to my clients because I want to know what I can make different to create a better experience for them. We are all different and we all value different things. This is important to a great experience for my clients while we work together.
This is how one of my all time favorite images came to life. I just told them to look into each other eyes and magic happened! (Of course this was the image that we decided to print big for their wall! )
I cannot wait to go back to capture more beautiful moments for my clients after this pandemic gets under control. I can only look back for now. I miss you all!
