A Fresh 48 photography session is a special type of photo shoot designed to capture the newness of a baby within the first 48 hours after their birth.

We are open for business and it feel so good to be back! The Covid-19 pandemic has definitely change things to a “new normal”.

Baby DJ is such a handsome baby boy! Mom wanted to work with tones of blue and neutral rustic colors. I couldn’t resist to used this amazing wrap and hat set made by girl Farm Girl Knitting Props. Love her! It was just perfect and Dylan looks all snuggled up and cozy!

As a NJ newborn & family photographer I get to establish a good relationship with my clients. I love when they feel comfortable with me and they trust me since I am handling the most precious addition to the family after all.

As a NJ newborn photographer we normally recommend moms to book as early as 2 months before their due date. This let us get prepared for the session as we often like to purchase new props for each session (Not that we have to but we normally have a weakness for cute little props!). We also plan around your due date knowing that we have about a 2 weeks window of the new baby arriving. But the reality is that things happen, especially for new parents and booking a newborn session is not at the top of the to-do list.

One of the most important part of a newborn session, or any session involving kids and their parents, is the parent shots with their new baby. Skin to skin photos are my absolute favorite!

When my friend Tamara (same name as me and we are both Puerto Rican!) told me she was pregnant with Daniel Jose I was so excited! First time taking pictures of a newborn for a friend! She told me his nursery theme was airplanes and I fell in love!
