We know that the idea of taking family photos can be stressful, especially if you’re concerned about how everyone will look or (even act that day) haha! We totally understand!

Being able to get to know each other and meet prior to the actual photo shoot allows us to build a comfortable relationship.

Choosing props for your new baby’s photo shoot may seem like a small detail that doesn’t make a big difference, but it actually does! Have you ever looked at a photo and just knew that that a certain prop made the picture look complete?

Last year, we had the privilege of being able to photograph our first proposal right here in our Lincoln Park, New Jersey studio! Jen and Xavier came in for their maternity shoot and little did we know that something extra special was going to happen that day. There is a lot of planning that goes into a shoot so that we are fully prepared when it comes to the actual day. But none of us we’re prepared for this BIG surprise!

Twin newborn sessions are extra special…as a twin mom myself I understand this special bond and all the emotions and feels mama id going through!

Imagine being pregnant and having an almost perfect stranger come into your home and ask you to get into your underwear as they pointed a camera at you for maternity photos. Yikes! And imagine as a new mom, someone you had done nothing more than exchange a few emails with wanted you to hand over your new baby. I’m a mom of twins, and there are not many people I would have entrusted my babies to in those first precious weeks.

It’s that time of year that we feel a change in the weather and notice the scenery around us beginning to change as well. It may even put you in a better mood if you get excited about fall photos and begin planning for the holidays!

Celebrating any age and stage of your child’s life is always something to celebrate and cherish! It can be a six-month milestone, a first birthday with a smash cake option or even a fifth birthday! We are always excited to be the ones to photograph these precious moments for you.

Maybe it’s your first baby or your third; either way, things will change so much after your baby is born. So being able to celebrate your body and how you felt during pregnancy is just priceless!
