When I think back to the tiny 160 square foot studio that I set up in my basement over five years ago, I’m filled with awe and wonder that my business has grown as much as it has. It’s with a thankful heart that I introduce a rebrand of my business from Lullabies for Josephine to Tamara Váz Photography.

Imagine being pregnant and having an almost perfect stranger come into your home and ask you to get into your underwear as they pointed a camera at you for maternity photos. Yikes! And imagine as a new mom, someone you had done nothing more than exchange a few emails with wanted you to hand over your new baby. I’m a mom of twins, and there are not many people I would have entrusted my babies to in those first precious weeks.

The first time I heard about this project created by the photographer Cara Soulia from Needham, Massachusetts; I felt it was such a beautiful and inspirational gesture. I felt that my community here in Lincoln Park, NJ needed this kind of positivity.

We are open for business and it feel so good to be back! The Covid-19 pandemic has definitely change things to a “new normal”.

One of the best compliments a photographer can receive is hearing the words “ it has to be you”. And when Lyndsay and I instantly connected during our phone consultation, she expressed this exact feeling.

I met Olivia’s mom when she booked one of my Tree Farm minis in 2017. She always told me that if she ever had another baby that I would had to be her newborn photographer. Such a beautiful family!
